This 2023 Beaver Toy Buying Guide intends to help you select the Beaver toy model that is best for you based on features and your budget. We discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the FIVE Toy Beaver Figures currently available to assist your decision making so that you can purchase the best toy Beaver toy model that is best for you.

Beaver Toy Overview:

There are currently 5 different Beaver toys available. All of them are acceptable models and would good in your collection. Your choice will depend entirely on your preference for breed and color. That said, there are 3 Beaver Toys that we do like better than the other two. We have listed the figures in order of our personal preference.

 

Best Beaver (3-WayTie): Safari Ltd. Beaver #283629

While this figure looks a little more plastic-y than the other figures, the pose and size of this figure makes it a winner. This is the only figure that has the sticks in its mouth, and also the only figure with both the top and bottom teeth out of the mouth. This is also the largest Beaver model available. This Beaver “in action” with the sticks is super cute.

Best Beaver (3-WayTie): Papo Beaver #50110

What really sets this figure apart is the pose. This is the only Beaver sitting up on its hind haunches. This pose makes the figure unique and distinctive. Besides the pose, the figure is well done. Hair texture on the body is attractive. Tail is a little odd shaped (spread out) but could be because the figure would have weight on its tail with this pose. The pose of this figure is what sets it apart.

 

Best Beaver (3-WayTie): CollectA Beaver #88382

This Beaver figure has many unique qualities. The face is one of the better Beaver faces. While this figure does not have its teeth sticking out, the face is cute and intense. We also like the round shape on this figure. Looks like a chubby little beaver. Nice hair texture and nice webbed feet. While we would like to have seen the teeth sticking out, this is a cute figure.

 

Lighter Colored Beaver Model: Schleich Beaver #14855

What is most unique on this figure is the lighter color of the pelt / fur. Texture on this figure is mild relative to the other figures. Face is a simpler design. The teeth sticking out are a pinkish / tan. Bright white would be more visible.

 

Least Favorite Beaver Model: Mojo Beaver #387078

This is a fine looking figure with a unique squatting pose. Texture is nice on the body. Teeth look a little dopey. This is the only figure where the bottom of the feet are unpainted. Again, figure is acceptable, just not our favorite.

 

Toy Beaver Review Conclusion:

Any of these five figures would meet your needs. Which Beaver you want is totally dependent on the look you are chasing. We like the Safari Ltd. figure because of the sticks in the mouth, the Papo figure due to its pose, and the Collecta Beaver due to the texture and face details.
