The spots on the figure are a solid brown color. The mane is also brown blends in with the spots. I would have liked to see more color variety in the figures.
Makes a good companion to the Schleich Female Giraffe. Male boy is slightly larger than the female body. The Female is standing straight / tall, the Male neck is slightly extended - thus the figures turn out to be about the same height.

Male giraffes are known for their distinctive horn-like structures called ossicones on their heads. These ossicones are covered in fur and play a role in male-male combat during mating season. Male giraffes use their long necks and strong neck muscles to engage in a form of combat known as "necking," in which they swing their necks at each other, using their ossicones as weapons.
The male giraffe is a herbivore, and its diet consists of leaves, flowers, and fruits from trees, mainly acacia trees. It has a long, prehensile tongue that is about 18 inches long and allows it to reach leaves and twigs that are out of reach for other herbivores.
Male giraffes are solitary animals and only come together with females during mating season. They have a lifespan of up to 25 years in the wild. The conservation status of the giraffe is listed as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), with their numbers decreasing in the wild due to poaching and habitat loss.
