Safari Ltd. Pachycephalosaurus Dinosaur Review:
Safari did a nice job on this Pachycephalosaurus figure. The dome is well blended with the rest of the details on the head. The head has a lot of nice bumps around the dome and on the bridge of the nose. Safari Ltd. added an additional detail on the dome with a spot of "battle damage". We would like this damage to be a little more realistic, but appreciate the attempt. Mouth is not open but the face us well done. We like the overall form and paint on this Safari Ltd. dinosaur figure. Lots of nice bumps and details. Safari Ltd. Pachycephalosaurus stands well on its two feet.

Pachycephalosaurus Dinosaur Facts:
Pachycephalosaurus means "thick headed lizard." This thick domed skull is the primary distinguishing feature of this dinosaur. The common perception is that the dome was used for head-butting, however evidence shows that the skull likely was not thick enough to support this activity. The Pachycephalosaurus lived in what is now North America. In the U.S. remains have been found in Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. The Pachycephalosaurus reached up to 15 feet in length and weighed up to 1,000 lbs. The Dracorex and Stygimoloch are argued to be younger phases of the Pachycephalosaurus.
Hand Painted and made of durable synthetic material.
