I love this Marble Ray figure, a stunning and lifelike addition to any ocean-themed collection! The gills and mouth on the bottom side of the ray are also well defined, adding to the realism of the figure.

A Marble Ray is a species of stingray that belongs to the family Dasyatidae, commonly known as whiptail stingrays. Its scientific name is Taeniura meyeni, and it is also known as the painted ray, marbled ribbontail ray, or leopard ray.

Marble rays are characterized by their distinctive coloration, which includes a mottled pattern of dark spots and blotches on a light background. They have a flattened, diamond-shaped body with a long, whip-like tail that has a spine at the base.
