Kentrosaurus Sethi from PNSO’s MINI series is a stunningly detailed depiction of this remarkable dinosaur, designed to captivate collectors and enthusiasts alike. This compact yet intricate figure captures the essence of Kentrosaurus, a smaller member of the Stegosaur family, renowned for its unique defensive adaptations. The figure showcases the defining characteristics of the dinosaur, including its double row of bony plates that taper into sharp spikes along its back and tail. These features are meticulously sculpted, reflecting both the defensive function and aesthetic appeal of the animal’s anatomy.
The pose of Sethi is dynamic, highlighting the agility and defensive capabilities of Kentrosaurus. Its muscular legs and sturdy body emphasize its ability to traverse its Late Jurassic environment, while the carefully painted earthy tones enhance its lifelike appearance. The detailing in the texture of the skin mimics the rough, scaly surface characteristic of these herbivorous dinosaurs, grounding the model in scientific accuracy.
The PNSO - Sethi the Kentrosaurus Mini Dinosaur Figure Measures approx: 3" L x 1.6" H.
Kentrosaurus, meaning “Spiked Lizard,” is known for its distinctive body armor and defensive adaptations. Living approximately 150 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period, this herbivorous dinosaur roamed what is now Tanzania. Unlike its larger cousin Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus was smaller and more lightly built, typically reaching lengths of 4 to 5 meters (13 to 16 feet). Despite its size, it was a well-adapted dinosaur with an effective defense mechanism: a series of plates and spikes running along its back and tail.
High detailed, realistic and exquisite.
