PNSO Xinchuan the Sinraptor was released in June 2022. The figure features a moveable jaw. Inside of mouth is well done. Figure needs included stand to balance.

The PNSO Xinchuan the Sinraptor measures: 8.2" L x 3.1" H.

The PNSO Xinchuan the Sinraptor figure captures the essence of this fierce theropod with impressive realism. The model features a forward-leaning stance, a long tail for balance, and finely sculpted musculature. Its articulated jaw reveals sharp, individually sculpted teeth, emphasizing the predatory nature of Sinraptor. Textured skin and dorsal spines further enhance its authenticity. A plastic support stand is included for stability. This figure is ideal for collectors and dinosaur enthusiasts, offering scientific accuracy and dynamic presentation.

Impressive sculpt in a walking position, leaning forward is a great pose. The dark grey and brown color scheme adds depth and a lifelike quality. Skin is painted primarily a dark grey with great accents. Underbelly is a light brown, with great shading and blending overall. Short spines down its back and long tail are nice addition. Head sculpt is awesome with an articulated jaw. Mouth looks great opened or closed. Great set of teeth on the upper jaw.

Drawback to this figure is that it is tippy and generally will not stand on its own. It includes a little plastic stand to assist in standing, but we are frustrated that the figure will not stand on its own.

Scientific reconstruction sculpture for display. NOT A TOY.

Sinraptor, a genus of theropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period, was a formidable predator that lived in what is now China. Measuring approximately 25 feet in length and weighing around 1,500 pounds, Sinraptor was one of the dominant predators of its time, likely preying on large herbivorous dinosaurs such as sauropods and stegosaurs.

One of Sinraptor’s defining features was its elongated skull, filled with serrated teeth adapted for slicing through flesh. Its powerful hind limbs allowed for bursts of speed, while its muscular tail helped with balance during pursuit. Unlike later giant theropods, Sinraptor retained relatively long arms with three sharp claws, which may have been used for grasping prey. Fossil evidence suggests it had a well-developed sense of sight and smell, making it an efficient hunter.
