Another great figure from PNSO. We like the paint job on this figure but the head really takes this figure to the next level. The narrow snout really makes this figure attractive. This figure has a moveable jaw with a good range of motion. We like the boney knobs on the top of the snout. This currently is the best Qianzhousaurus figure currently available. Brown stipes on whitewash paint base stands out. Figure has moveable jaw with a good range of motion.

PNSO A-Shu The Qianzhousaurus measures 9.5" L x 3.6" T.

1:35 scientific reconstruction sculpture for display. NOT A TOY.

Qianzhousaurus, scientifically known as Qianzhousaurus sinensis, is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that inhabited Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, specifically in what is now southern China. Qianzhousaurus is notable for its elongated snout, earning it the nickname "Pinocchio rex." This dinosaur lived around 67 to 66 million years ago, coexisting with other tyrannosaurids but likely occupying a different ecological niche due to its unique physical characteristics.

Qianzhousaurus measured approximately 6.3 meters in length, with a hip height of about 2 meters, and weighed around 750-757 kilograms. Unlike its more robust relatives like Tyrannosaurus rex, Qianzhousaurus had a lighter build, with a long, narrow snout filled with slender teeth, suggesting a diet that might have included smaller, faster prey such as oviraptors and ornithomimids. Its skull featured a pneumatic opening on the maxilla and lacked the vertical ridge on the ilium common in other tyrannosaurids, distinguishing it further.
