PNSO Dinosaur Museum Series - A-Qi The Sinoceratops #40
14+ Years

Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The PNSO A-Qi The Sinoceratops is an outstanding figure from PNSO. Nice form overall - figure has a large curve and the head position follows the curve with a slight up tilt. Flat colored back is well offset by the glossy head. The black, red, and white on the frill are great details that stand out. Great figure overall - best feature is the head with the paint highlights and gloss. Combine with the PNSO young Sinoceratops - although they are not to scale.
PNSO A-Qi The Sinoceratops measures: 6" L x 3.6" T.
The figure length negatively impacted by large curve in figure. Approx. 9" L if measured along the curve.
Sinoceratops, meaning "Chinese horned face," lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now China. As a member of the ceratopsid family, Sinoceratops shares many traits with other horned dinosaurs, such as a large frill, sharp beak, and distinctive facial horns. This herbivorous dinosaur could reach up to 20 feet in length and weigh over 2 tons, standing at more than 6.5 feet tall. Its large frill, adorned with distinctive horns, is a notable characteristic that likely had a role in both defense and social interaction.
The figure reflects these features in stunning detail, with the curved body design adding a sense of movement and realism. Sinoceratops, like other ceratopsids, would have roamed in herds, likely using their frills and horns in social displays or defense against predators like theropods. The glossy finish on the head and the intricate paintwork on the frill highlight the dinosaur's unique anatomy, making it an impressive model for collectors, educators, and enthusiasts of prehistoric life.
