PNSO Dinosaur Museum Series - Bart The Pinacosaurus #37
14+ Years
Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
This figure is currently the only Pinacosaurus model available for sale.
The form of this figure is outstanding. The spikes on the sides and on the tail are well done and offer protection from the other dinosaurs in your collection. The tri-colored paint on the back is well done and makes the details pop. This figure is low to the ground with a total height of only 1.5". That low profile make is hard to see the face details as it naturally stands. Close examination of the face revels nice (not outstanding) face details. They sort of blend together. As you have few (aka no other) choices in Pinacosaurus figures, this is a great choice to add to your dinosaur collection. The model shape and paint are its best features.
The PNSO Bart The Pinacosaurus measures: 6.75" L - 1.5" H.
Pinacosaurus, a genus of armored dinosaurs from the Late Cretaceous period, is known for its relatively small size and distinctive body armor. Its most striking features are the large bony plates covering its back, paired with spikes along the tail and flanks, likely offering protection against predators. Unlike its larger armored relatives like Ankylosaurus, Pinacosaurus had a shorter, more compact body, which was well-suited to life in the arid environments of modern-day Mongolia. It was an herbivorous dinosaur, likely feeding on low-lying plants and ferns, using its sturdy body to protect itself from predators such as theropods.
PNSO figures are scientific reconstruction sculptures for display. NOT A TOY.
