The PNSO 34 Qichuan the Tuojiangosaurus figure is a beautifully detailed representation of one of the most iconic stegosaurid dinosaurs. The figure prominently displays the double row of plates running along its back, a defining feature of the species. These plates, highlight their asymmetrical arrangement and tapering shape, which are consistent with fossil evidence.

The body is depicted in a low, quadrupedal stance, emphasizing Tuojiangosaurus's robust build and short limbs.

The tail features the distinctive thagomizer—sharp spikes likely used for defense against predators. The texture of the figure’s skin is intricately rendered, reflecting a scaly surface based on paleontological findings.

Its coloration blends earthy tones with subtle highlights, offering an interpretation that balances scientific plausibility with visual appeal. This figure provides enthusiasts with a tangible connection to this fascinating dinosaur.

The PNSO Qichuan The Tuojiangosaurus measures approx (inches): 9.5 L x 5.2 H.

Tuojiangosaurus is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 155 to 150 million years ago, in what is now China. Its name, meaning "Tuo River lizard," reflects its discovery near the Tuo River in Sichuan Province. This herbivorous dinosaur is one of the best-known stegosaurs from Asia and provides important insights into the diversity and evolution of this group.Tuojiangosaurus was a medium-sized stegosaurid, measuring about 23 feet (7 meters) in length and weighing approximately 4 tons.

Like other members of its family, it was characterized by its small head, long neck, and low-slung body supported by four sturdy legs. The most striking feature of Tuojiangosaurus was its double row of bony plates along its back. These plates were not symmetrical but alternated in arrangement, which is a hallmark of stegosaur anatomy. While their exact function remains debated, they may have been used for display, thermoregulation, or species recognition.
