PNSO Dinosaur Museum Series - Brian The Pachyrhinosaurus #30
14+ Years

Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The PNSO 30 Brian the Pachyrhinosaurus figure prominently displays the characteristic thick, bony pad on the snout, replacing the nasal horn seen in other ceratopsians. Its large skull is adorned with a short, deep snout and an elaborate frill extending over the neck, complete with intricate patterns of bumps and projections.
The horns around the frill are scientifically reproduced, adhering to paleontological findings. The figure's robust build and quadrupedal stance accurately portray the animal's body structure, with its barrel-shaped torso supported by four sturdy legs and a proportionally short tail.
The skin texture is well rendered, suggesting a scaly appearance based on fossil evidence from related species. While the coloration is speculative, it likely draws inspiration from modern large herbivores, balancing realism with artistic interpretation.
PNSO Brian The Pachyrhinosaurus measures approximate (inches): 9.1 L x 4.1 H.
1:35 scientific reconstruction sculpture for display. NOT A TOY.
Pachyrhinosaurus was a ceratopsian dinosaur that roamed North America during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 73 million years ago. The name Pachyrhinosaurus, meaning "thick-nosed lizard," aptly describes its most distinctive feature: the large, bony pad on its snout that replaced the nasal horn typical of other ceratopsians. This unique characteristic set Pachyrhinosaurus apart from its relatives and has been a subject of much scientific interest and speculation.
Pachyrhinosaurus shared its ecosystem with other well-known horned dinosaurs like Centrosaurus and Styracosaurus. However, its unusual nasal boss represents an evolutionary departure from the typical horn structure, showcasing the diversity of cranial ornamentation that developed within this group of dinosaurs.
