PNSO Dinosaur Museum Series - Caroline The Corythosaurus #28
14+ Years

Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
Beautiful green an orange crest immediately draws the eyes. Figure balances delicately on slim front legs. Forward motion pose looks ready to chase down its prey.
While the overall body of this figure is flat paint (tans and browns), the green and orange crest has a shiny coating and thus pops off the figure. The bright crest draws your eyes to a well formed head. Black accents around the duck billed snout and eye add depth. Great looking head and neck on this figure.
Neck transitions to a well shaped and posed body. Model balances on its rear legs and slim front legs. Pose is action packed and the figure looks like it is casually walking but ready to run. Figure does balance on it own but does have a delicate balance point. Overall a great Corythosaurus model from PNSO.
PNSO Caroline The Corythosaurus measures: 11" L x 4.5" T.
Corythosaurus was a genus of duck-billed dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous, around 77 to 75 million years ago. Known for its distinctively tall, helmet-like crest, Corythosaurus belonged to the lambeosaurine group of hadrosaurids, which were characterized by their elaborate cranial ornamentation. The crest is believed to have played a role in vocalization, allowing these dinosaurs to communicate through resonant sounds.
Fossil evidence suggests Corythosaurus was a herbivore, feeding on a variety of plant materials, including ferns, conifers, and flowering plants. Its beak-like mouth, combined with hundreds of closely packed teeth in its jaws, made it highly efficient at processing tough vegetation. It likely lived in large herds, migrating across floodplains and coastal regions in what is now North America.
