3+ Years
Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The PNSO Cassowary figurine is a decent product for the price. Has all the basic features required and generally this model is the lowest priced.
PNSO Cassowary measures: 3.2" T x 2.5" L.
The PNSO Cassowary figurine is a decent product for the price. The body of the figure features mild feather texture that gives it a realistic look. The head of the figure has the basic requirements of a Cassowary, including the bony casque on the head. However, the casque is a little undersized, relative to the other models.
The figure is attached to a rubber base, which can be both a pro or con, depending on your preferences. The legs of the figure are thinner and rubbery, and the model we tested had a slight lean.
Overall a decent figure for the price.
The Cassowary is a large bird that cannot fly and inhabits the tropical forests of Australia, New Guinea, and nearby islands. Known for their unique features such as a bony casque on their head, striking blue neck, and sharp claws, Cassowaries are also known for their aggressive behavior towards perceived threats, including humans.
Cassowaries are solitary creatures that primarily live on the ground and have an omnivorous diet consisting of fruits, insects, small vertebrates, and sometimes carrion. They play an important role in their ecosystems by aiding the dispersal of seeds from fruit-bearing trees.
While these birds are usually peaceful, they can turn aggressive when they feel endangered, utilizing their powerful legs and claws to protect themselves. Therefore, it's essential for people to maintain a safe distance and respect their territory.
