Simply a great figure from PNSO. Eye catching out of the box. It's the paint scheme that really separates this figure from the pack. Black base with white underbelly is well applied, but then the highlights really pop off the black base. Color of the highlights looks like the green of glow in the dark green (this does not glow in the dark - but thats the shade it looks like to us). Two big bold eyes complete the awesome paint job.
The shape of this figure is also top notch. Great fins and flippers carry thru to a great tail. You can easily picture this figure rocketing through the water. The nose is well shaped, thin, and pointy. Flexible nose will not break off during normal course of play. Simply a great figure. A must have.
Eurhinosaurus Information:
Eurhinosaurus means 'good nose lizard'. It is an extinct genus of ichthyosaur from the Early Jurassic period (175 - 183 million years). Fossils of the aquatic reptile have been found in Western Europe. They used to live in the deep, open sea area. Eurhinosaurus was a large genus of ichthyosaurs. An adult individual could reach over 20 ft.
