Another great figure from PNSO - Voted in the top 3 Ankylosaurus figures in 2022. This is the largest and more expensive of the top 3. Most unique is the lighter color scheme on this figure. Even has some shades of light orange / pink on the figure. Overall form is well done - plates and spikes on the back are well shaped and well spaced. Club on the tail also has a nice shape. Good looking head - Overall a nice Ankylosaurus figure from PNSO.

Ankylosaurus was one of the last and largest of the armored dinosaurs. It lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 68 to 66 million years ago, in what is now western North America. The name Ankylosaurus means "fused lizard," referring to the many bones in its skull and body that were fused together, creating a formidable natural armor.Ankylosaurus was a member of the family Ankylosauridae, a group of herbivorous dinosaurs known for their extensive body armor and club-like tails.

It was one of the largest known ankylosaurids, reaching lengths of up to 6.25 meters (20.5 feet) and weighing as much as 8 metric tons. This massive size, combined with its impressive defensive adaptations, made Ankylosaurus a formidable presence in its ecosystem.

    This figure is beautiful a lot of Ankylosaurus figures would have exaggerated osteoderms on their body but scientists discovered they were more flat then sharp and spiked the scaling is also great cause it was short but large animal they demonstrated it very well
