The Papo Young Spinosaurus measures approximately in inches:
7.3 L x 3.3 H x 2.7 W.
Spinosaurus means "spine lizard". Spinosaurus is the largest of all known terrestrial carnivores; other large carnivores comparable to Spinosaurus include theropods such as Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus. The latest estimates suggest a weight of 6.4 to 7.5 metric tons (7.1 to 8.3 short tons) and could reach lengths of 15 to 16 meters (49 to 52 ft). The skull of Spinosaurus was long, low and narrow, similar to that of a modern crocodilian, and bore straight conical teeth with no serrations. A semiaquatic carnivore that consumed fish with a skull similar to present day crocodiles.
The Papo Young Spinosaurus #55065 is part of the Dinosaur Series by Papo.
