The Papo Lady Corsair will sail the seven seas to hijack your ship and steal your treasure. She is well armed with a flint-lock pistol, a cutlass and a dagger.
The Papo Lady Corsair figure embodies the daring and adventurous spirit associated with corsairs. The Lady Corsair is dressed in a historically inspired outfit, complete with a fitted jacket adorned with gold trim, reflecting her status and command. Beneath the jacket, she wears a flowing blouse, and her pants are tucked into high, sturdy boots, designed for navigating the treacherous decks of ships. A wide belt cinches her waist, where a pistol is sheathed, ready for battle. She holds a cutlass in her hand and a dagger behind her back - ready for battle.
The Papo Lady Corsair figure measures 3.2" H x 1.7" L.
Lady Corsairs were women who took to the seas as privateers, legally sanctioned pirates who operated under the authority of their government. These women were often as skilled and ruthless as their male counterparts, commanding ships and leading crews in daring raids against enemy vessels. Unlike traditional pirates who operated outside the law, corsairs were granted letters of marque, allowing them to attack and plunder ships of enemy nations during wartime. This legal distinction made corsairs both feared and respected, as they were often viewed as patriots fighting for their country’s interests.
Made of durable synthetic material. Hand Painted.
