Papo Fantasy - Giant Ork with Saber #38996
3+ Years
Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The Papo Giant Ork is armed with a large sword and mace. Additionally, heavy armor and strength protect the giant. Scarred and war-torn, a Hero to his own kin.
The Papo Giant Ork measures approx: 5" tall.
A Papo Giant Ork is a sturdy model that has many fine details. The paint application is done in layers and allows for real depth. The Ork appears to be roaring as it swings a large mace over his head to attack. Overall this is a nice figure. I do not like the clean silver and gold used for the armor and weapons. These items should be dingy, dirty, rusty, and well worn being they belong to an Ork warrior.
The fantasy creature known as an "ork" or "orc" is a common staple in various works of literature, mythology, and popular culture. While specific characteristics and appearances may vary depending on the fictional world in which they are featured, there are some general attributes often associated with works.
Orks are typically portrayed as humanoid creatures, larger and more muscular than humans. They often have green or gray skin tones, prominent teeth, and strong, broad bodies. Their facial features can be quite distinct, with prominent brows and sometimes exaggerated tusks or fangs.
Orks are commonly depicted as physically formidable beings. They possess great strength and endurance, which contributes to their reputation as fearsome warriors. This physical prowess often makes them formidable adversaries in battle.
Orks are frequently characterized as warlike and aggressive. They are known for their love of combat and seek out opportunities to engage in battle. In many fantasy settings, orks are portrayed as living in highly organized societies focused on warfare, often with a hierarchical structure and a strong emphasis on military prowess.
