3+ Years
Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The Mojo Brachiosaurus figure stands tall with an elongated neck, accurately reflecting the Brachiosaurus's most notable feature, which allowed it to reach high vegetation.
The skin texture is meticulously sculpted to represent the rough, pebbly surface typical of large sauropods. The coloration is a blend of earthy tones, with variations of greens that mimic the natural camouflage of a prehistoric forest.
The legs are robust and well-defined, emphasizing the immense strength required to support its massive body. The head is small in proportion to the body as it should be.
The Mojo Brachiosaurus figure measures 9.25" long by 6" tall.
Brachiosaurus is one of the most well-known dinosaurs, largely due to its distinctive body shape and size. This genus of sauropod dinosaurs lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 154-153 million years ago. The name "Brachiosaurus" means "arm lizard," referring to its unusual limb proportions; its front legs were significantly longer than its hind legs, which gave it a giraffe-like stance.
Brachiosaurus was a gigantic herbivore, with estimates suggesting it could reach lengths of up to 82 feet and heights of around 43 feet. It weighed between 28 to 58 metric tons, making it one of the largest land animals ever to have existed. Its long neck allowed Brachiosaurus to browse for food at heights that other herbivores could not reach, giving it access to a unique niche within its ecosystem. This advantage enabled it to feed on a variety of vegetation, including leaves and branches from tall coniferous trees, cycads, and ginkgos.
Figure measures 9.25" long by 6" tall.
