The Mojo Brazilian Tapir figure showcases its robust body, short legs, and characteristic snout. The figure displays the tapir’s dark brown coat, small, rounded ears, and expressive eyes. The texture of the figure mildly mimics the tapir’s thick skin.
The Mojo Brazillian Tapir figure measures 4" long by 2.2" tall.
The Brazilian tapir, is one of four extant species of tapir and the most widespread in South America. Also known as the South American tapir, this species is native to the Amazon rainforest, as well as other tropical and subtropical forests in the region.
Brazilian tapirs play a crucial role in their ecosystems, primarily as seed dispersers. Their diet consists mainly of fruits, leaves, and aquatic vegetation, which they forage for in the dense forest undergrowth and along riverbanks.
The most distinctive feature of the Brazilian tapir is its snout, which is an elongated, flexible extension of the upper lip and nose. This snout is highly sensitive and capable of grasping leaves and fruit, much like an elephant’s trunk, albeit on a smaller scale. The figure would accurately capture this unique adaptation, emphasizing the tapir’s feeding habits and ecological niche.
