The HAOLONGGOOD Chasmosaurus - Zou Run The figure showcases the distinctive features of Chasmosaurus, including its large frill with pronounced openings (cleft), which is where the name "opening lizard" originates. The sculpting of the model highlights the angular, boxy body shape typical of Chasmosaurinae, with a flat spine at the pelvis rising to a slight peak at the ribcage.
The figure also features a frill with distinct shaping, and modest, upturned brow horns. Its hide is detailed with a rough texture, providing a realistic look to the dinosaur's skin. The color palette includes a reddish-brown overlay on a sandy tan base with well placed accents, making the figure both visually appealing and scientifically accurate.

Chasmosaurus is a genus of ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period, approximately 76-73 million years ago. Its name comes from the Greek words meaning “cleft” or “opening” and “lizard.”
The distinctive feature of Chasmosaurus is the large openings (fenestrae) in its frill, giving it a unique appearance. These openings are what inspired its name, which means “opening lizard.”
The dinosaur measured around 15 ft in length and weighed 2 tonnes. All known specimens of Chasmosaurus were found in the Dinosaur Park Formation at Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada.
