The Haolonggood Nasutoceratops - Huarong in greyish with vibrant green highlights brilliantly captures the distinctive features of Nasutoceratops, including its iconic large, ornate nasal horn, its two oversized top-of-head horns, and the elaborate frill at the back of its skull, elements which are true to the species' known fossil record.
The paint job on this model is well applied, showcasing intricate patterns that mimic the natural coloration of this dinosaur, with bright greenish hues accentuating the unique facial/frill features. The figure's body and limbs are detailed with realistic skin texture and muscle definition, reflecting the robust body structure of Nasutoceratops.
The Haolonggood Nasutoceratops Huarong measures:
6.7" L x 1.7" W x 3" H.
Nasutoceratops is one of the more intriguing ceratopsian species from the Late Cretaceous period, specifically from what is now southern Utah. Known scientifically as Nasutoceratops titusi, this dinosaur was first described in 2013, bringing attention to its unique features among the centrosaurine ceratopsids.
Unlike many of its relatives, Nasutoceratops had long, curved brow horns that were more akin to those seen in modern bovines, coupled with a notably large, nasal horn, which gives it the name meaning "large-nosed horned face." This particular model, Huarong, captures these defining traits with precision, providing collectors with a tangible piece of paleontological history.
