The Collecta Caiujara is an astounding figure. Head colors of yellow, orange, red, and blue are vibrant and well applied. Head alone is over 5.5 inches tall. Jaw opens and closes.

Simply a beautiful figure. The head on this figure is one of the most vibrant and best of any prehistoric figure. The giant crest on the head is eye-catching. The yellow and orange base is well accented with the blue, red, and black. Jaw opens and closes and has a decent range of motion. Inside of mouth is dull pink. Besides the color, the shape on the head is well done. Eyes are surrounded by blue and matches the blue waddle underneath the beak.
The overall body is equally beautiful. The black base paint is well accented by the grey wings and the yellow highlights. The texture on the body is nicely rough.
The only downside to this figure is the one we tested did not fully balance on all four feet. There is no danger of tipping over, but it does rock slightly back and forth between the feet.
Caiuajara belonged to a group of pterosaurs known as tapejarids, which were characterized by their unique cranial crests and likely fed on small prey such as insects and fish. These pterosaurs were well adapted for powered flight, with large wingspans and lightweight skeletons that allowed them to soar through the skies in search of food.
