Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
The CollectA Deinocheirus figure captures the massive arms and claws that give Deinocheirus its name, which means "terrible hand." The body is robust and bulky, reflecting its large size and unusual build. The head is small relative to the body, and the mouth is equipped with a duck-like bill, indicating its omnivorous diet. Vibrant blue color accents really draaw the eye.

Deinocheirus was known only from its massive forelimbs and shoulder girdle, which measured over 2.4 meters (8 feet) in length, leading to much speculation about its appearance and lifestyle.
The mystery of Deinocheirus's complete form was not solved until more fossils were discovered in 2014, revealing a more comprehensive picture of this extraordinary dinosaur. It had a highly unusual body structure, with a large, bulky torso, long arms ending in massive claws, and a distinctive hump on its back formed by elongated neural spines.
One of the most striking features of Deinocheirus is its head, which is relatively small compared to its body and equipped with a broad, duck-like bill. This unusual beak suggests that Deinocheirus had an omnivorous diet, capable of processing a variety of plant material as well as small animals and fish. Fossil evidence, including gut contents, supports this, showing that Deinocheirus consumed a mix of plants and fish, making it one of the few known omnivorous theropods.
The large size and unusual morphology of Deinocheirus indicate that it had few predators and was likely a dominant presence in its ecosystem.
