Tyrannosaurus rex, often simply referred to as T. rex, is perhaps the most iconic of all dinosaurs, known for its immense size, powerful jaws, and formidable reputation as a top predator. Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs to have ever roamed the Earth. Its massive skull, equipped with banana-sized teeth, could deliver a bone-crushing bite force, allowing it to prey upon a variety of large herbivorous dinosaurs of its time.
The hunting behavior of Tyrannosaurus rex has been the subject of much speculation and scientific study. While once thought to be primarily a scavenger, recent evidence suggests that T. rex was indeed an active predator, capable of hunting down its own prey. Its robust build, keen senses, and powerful limbs would have made it well-suited for taking down large dinosaurs.
