Wild water buffaloes are large bovines native to Southeast Asia and parts of India. They are characterized by their massive size, thick coats, and distinctive curved horns. They typically inhabit swampy and marshy areas, where they can often be seen wading through shallow waters to graze on aquatic vegetation.
In the wild, these animals live in herds led by dominant males, known as bulls. Bulls are easily recognizable by their larger size and impressive horns, which can span up to several feet in length. Female buffaloes, called cows, also possess horns but are generally smaller in stature.
