If you need a large triceratops toy, this is the figure for you. With its head up, the top of the spike is 5.5" above the surface. Beyond its large size, this figure has the most colorful frill. Head and frill has a black base with orange and white highlights. In a lineup with the other triceratops figures, that bright head really stands out. The head has a good shape and form. Yellow eye sort of gets lost in the multiple paint colors.
The body itself and its pose is fairly standard. The finish on the body is quasi shiny and looks a little plastic like. Overall the best features of this CollectA Triceratops is the size and the head colors.

The triceratops mouth was equipped with a horny beak and the heavy neck shield was of solid bone. Triceratops probably used its armour mostly in mating contests, but it would also have afforded some protection against attack from giant meat eating dinosaur.
