White lions are a rare color variation of the African lion and are native to the Timbavati region of South Africa. They exhibit a condition called leucism, resulting in a reduced pigmentation of the fur, giving them their distinctive pale coloration.
White lion cubs, like their tawny-colored counterparts, are highly social animals and spend much of their time interacting with their siblings, parents, and other members of their pride. They learn essential hunting and survival skills through play and exploration under the watchful eyes of the adult lions.
