Zebra (Bullyland)

Zebras are distinctive, horse-like mammals known for their striking black and white stripes. They belong to the genus Equus and are native to Africa, where they inhabit a range of environments including savannas, grasslands, and mountainous regions. The three main species of zebra are the Plains zebra (Equus quagga), the Grevy's zebra (Equus grevyi), and the Mountain zebra (Equus zebra).

Zebras are herbivorous grazers, feeding primarily on grasses, but they also consume leaves and shoots. Their unique striping pattern is believed to serve multiple purposes, including camouflage, deterring biting flies, and social bonding within herds. Zebras live in social groups called harems, led by a dominant male, with females and their offspring forming the core of the group. They are known for their strong social bonds and cooperative behavior, which helps them to evade predators and navigate their often harsh environments.

In addition to their striking appearance, zebras are also known for their high-energy and playful behavior. They are capable runners, able to reach speeds of up to 65 km/h (40 mph) to escape predators. Zebras play a crucial role in their ecosystems by influencing vegetation and serving as prey for large predators like lions and hyenas.
